This garage extension in Bedlington had to be built with minimal disruption to the owners.

This was an interesting garage extension in Bedlington. Our client has a young family and it was really important to her to minimise disruption. She was adamant that they did not want to move out during the build.

There is all sorts of noise, dust and machinery involved in a project like this so we approached the project a little differently, taking extra care to partition the areas that we were working from the rest of the house. It was a bit more of a challenge for us but worth it. The job had only been complete five minutes before the kids were tearing in and out through the new bi-fold doors. Exactly what they were built for!

We built a double decker extension with a wrap around sun room resulting in extra garage space, utility room, children's play room and double bedroom with ensuite.

We started this project with an architect. Once we had the initial designs I.D. did a great job of pointing out where the technical bits were going to be challenging. It helped make sure we stayed on budget.
