Every project has a story. Sometimes clients simply want more space, sometimes it's about adding value to a property. This one was all about an apple tree.
A relatively small project, our client wanted to create an extension that made use of a piece of land that wrapped around the house. This piece of grass was on the property boundary but until now unused. We extended out creating a trussed roof with one opening. The key part was installing fully opening bi-fold doors into the garden.
This project was quick to deliver due to its simplicity and most of the work was done in winter. It was not until summer arrived that we fully appreciated what the client was hoping to achieve. What had been a simple tree when we were on site transformed into the most glorious explosion of bright red apples. The garden had become an orchard and our client had asked us to make a space that allowed her to sit back and enjoy the fruits of all her hard work tending this magnificent tree.
