A Very Special Swimming Pool

It's not everyday you are asked to build a swimming pool, but the ID Construction and Joinery team were more than happy to take on this challenge.

Cleaswell Hill School near Ashington caters for pupils with special needs and raised funds to build their own specialist hydrotherapy swimming pool on the school grounds.

Main Contractors

ID Construction and Joinery were appointed as main contractors on the project in 2018. We have a lot of experience working for schools and work with the school staff and local authority to make sure that we meet all required health and safety issues as well as adhering to pupil safeguarding regulations.

The major works were scheduled to take place through school holidays to minimise disruption.

The whole team are really proud of this project, it's satisfying knowing that you have built something that will have a real impact on young people and the community that we live and work in.

You can find out more about the project and Cleasewell Hill School here.
